A pair of colonial era figurines seated on white cushions. These figurines were made in Occupied Japan following World War II as shown by the stamp on the bottom. Each figurine was hand-painted; both are intact and undamaged. The lady is dressed in a gown with brick red sleeves and a white skirt; she holds a basket of flowers. Her escort is dressed in a green coat, blue cape and white knee pants; he clasps a rose in his left hand. <div><br></div><div>Both figures and the base have gold paint accents. Overall dimensions are 4.5 in x 3.25 in x 1.5 in.
