<div>From Shenango China in New Castle, PA, USA, this is a ceramic dish dated 1978. The dish has a central image printed in green on an ivory-colored background. </div><div><br></div><div>The theme is Christmas; the plate shows a scene from the Dickens classic tale "A Christmas Carol" with Bob Cratchit rushing home down a slide on Cornhill. Two other people are pictured as well as some old English houses. The central image is surrounded by a painted ring of gold.</div><div><br></div><div>This dish measures 10 inches in diameter; it has a weight of 26.3 ounces. Condition of the inner surface is like-new and undamaged; the outer edge has 3 areas of roughness, possibly from standing the dish on a tripod. </div><div><br></div><div>Shipment is by US Postal Service Ground Advantage mail. </div>
