From Columbia-Minerva Corporation, this is book number 755 titled "Great American Knits"; copyright date is unknown but may have been in the 1960s. This softcover book provides patterns and instructions for hand-knitting a variety of ladies' sweaters, including V-necks, cardigans and turtlenecks. There is even a ladies' 3-piece suit and an Irish knit dress. The book also includes patterns for men and children; all are in classic styles popular in the past that easily translate to today's tastes and fashions. A page of general instructions is included with a chart of interchangeable yarns (from Columbia-Minerva). There is a table showing misses' sizes based on chest measurements to assist in determining the size of knitted garment to make. The book measures 11.75 inches x 8.75 inches x 0.25 inches, with a weight of 6.4 ounces. It has 44 pages plus front and back covers. The front cover is missing its lower right corner. The centerfold (pages 21 to 24) is present but detached. There is a small area of writing on page 43, including circling of stitch numbers, and a notation on page 38. Other inside pages are intact with no damage or writing; all patterns are easily read. The front cover and the back cover show the same photo.Shipment by US Postal Service Media mail.
