All spoons are solid sterling silver. In the pictures, the topside of the spoon is on the left and the bottom is on the right. Because of the way the camera takes the pictures, they can appear to be slightly longer or shorter than they actually are. Please go by the measurement stated below for exact length of each spoon.1. SAN FRANCISCO, CA, USA: 18g and 5.5" long. The topside of the spoon shows a picture of and is written "CLIFF HOUSE SAN FRANCISCO CAL" with a floral design on the handle. The back has a floral design and the STERLING stamp on the handle.2. MOBILE, AL, USA: 14g and 5.25" long. The topside of the spoon is written "MOBILE" with a floral design and "ALABAMA" written on the mid portion of the handle and a bird and face on the end of the handle. The back has a floral design, "STATE CAPITOL" written and the STERLING stamp on the handle.3. KANSAS CITY, MO, USA: 15g and 5.25" long. The topside of the spoon is written "Kansas City" with a floral design on the handle. The back has a floral design and the STERLING stamp on the handle.4. BLACK HILLS, SD, USA: 19g and 5.5"+ long. The topside of the spoon's handle shows a picture of the 4 Presidents of the USA on Mount Rushmore with "MOUNT RUSHMORE NATIONAL MEMORIAL" written next to it and "BLACK HILLS S.D." written on the mid portion of the handle. The back has the STERLING stamp on the handle.5. VICKSBURG, MS, USA: 18g and 5.75" long. The topside of the spoon is written "VICKSBURG MISS", a picture of and is written "MISSISSIPPI MONUMENT", a picture of and is written "ILLINOIS MONUMENT", and a picture of and is written "OLD SHIRLEY HOUSE" on the handle. The back has a picture of and is written "SURRENDER MONUMENT AND CANNON", a picture of and is written "RAM ESSEX", a picture of and is written "COURT HOUSE", and the STERLING stamp on the handle.6. ILLINOIS, USA: 14g and 5.3" long. The topside of the spoon is a picture of a pasture and on the handle it shows a picture of a monument with a person atop and is written "DOUGLAS MON", a picture of a stalk of corn, a picture of and is written "LINCOLN MONUMENT", and a picture of a eagle above which is written "ILLINOIS". BELLINGRATH GARDENS, AL, USA: 16g and 4.5" long. The unique shape is often referred to as a bon bon spoon or a sugar spoon. The unique shape of the spoon is along the lines of a small soup or nut spoon. The topside of the spoon has a blue enamel inlay that has been chipped off. I almost didn't notice it had been chipped because it looks just fine but you can feel it is not smooth when you pick it us. Nevertheless it has a beautiful design. The back has the STERLING stamp on the handle as well a "MADE IN NORWAY".11. BISON: These are two identical 3.75" long spoons with twisted handles and a picture of a bison at the end of the handle. Together they weigh 16g. The backs have the STERLING stamp on each handle.12. BIG TREE, CA, USA: 19g and 5.5" long. The topside of the spoon shows a picture of and is written "GOLDEN GATE", a picture of the capitol building and is written "STATE CAPITOL" and "CALIFORNIA" with a floral design and indian scene on the handle. The back has a floral design with the USA furled flag and eagle crest and the STERLING stamp on the handle.Family of two original owners (mother and grandmother) from trips taken between the turn of the century (1900) and 1950. All of them have always been stored in a nonsmoking house.
