This is a set of 2 vintage engraved aluminum snack trays with a pair of ducks in flight over a wetlands nature scene that are from the mid-century time period. The engraving is finely done showing cattails, reeds, water lines and landscape details all giving the trays their classic mid-century decorative looks. They were commonly produced in the 1950s up to the 1970s and used most commonly as a snack tray but also for vanity trays, dresser trays, or as a decorative catch all.Made of lightweight aluminum most likely or a similar alloy with a soft patina from its age. The scalloped edges and small side tab handles add charm and fuctionality. Each tray is hand engraved with the same scene making it a wonderful collectible for lovers of wildlife art, rustic decor, cabin decor or mid century metalwork.Perfect for display, gifting, or use as a trinket tray, jewelry tray, entryway catch all or decorative accent. These trays fit beautifully into farmhouse, rustic, lodge and folk art inspired spaces. They have light surface wear consistent with their pre-owned age. Minor scratches and patina is present. No cracks or bend. Engaving is clear and attractive. SEE PHOTOS FOR EXACT CONDITION.Each tray is 7" inches long and 4" inches wide and each is 1.8 ounces in weight.
