Small, sturdy butcher block. Versatile and perfect for small spaces. End-Grain Cut. Laborious process that makes any home look warm and inviting.<br>Mid Century Modern - Farmhouse - Old Growth Wood. Measuring 8"L x 8"W x 6"H<br><br>This piece was made by my Grandfather. Surface has been refinished with a rich stain.<br><br>One small chip on edge that has been filled and is seamlessly unnoticeable to touch. <br><br>This tight ring-patterned piece was crafted in the 1960s. That end-grain construction is important. That’s the traditional butcher block method because: It’s self-healing for knife cuts. It’s extremely durable as proven with present condition after years of use.<br><br>This is a well crafted piece that is far superior to most of it age and construction. Legs are very solid. Small raised lip routed around the top helps prevent spillage.<br><br>Turned wooden legs screwed in (removable). This is the real deal construction. No structural separation.
