The sterling silver collar is fully hallmarked and engraved: J.H.D. ECH 1902 The handle end is marked Carlton Gemmourist London. A genuine Edwardian sporting item used by gamekeepers and hunters for the humane dispatch of game. Attractive decorative piece with good age and patina. Condition Good antique condition. Wear and age-related marks throughout. Leather covering and wrist strap show age and use. Silver collar has surface scratches and tarnish.
