Vintage 2000 Nickelodeon SpongeBob SquarePants Keychain – Basic Fun – Rare Collectible (Loose w/ Card) Description: This is a vintage 2000 SpongeBob SquarePants keychain, officially licensed by Nickelodeon and produced by Basic Fun. Part of the very first Nickelodeon keychain series, this collectible was originally sold at KB Toys, alongside Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers, and CatDog keychains. Character: SpongeBob SquarePants Year: 2000 (Viacom / Basic Fun) Features: Foam-style squeezable head and movable arms & legs Condition: Used / vintage. The keychain figure is loose (no longer attached to the card). It shows wear from age and handling: SpongeBob’s nose has fallen off with age, and the figure has some general surface wear. The original card backing is included but shows heavy wear and tearing from storage. Packaging: Card backing only, no blister. Still nice to have for display or authenticity. Collectible Value: Early release in Nickelodeon’s collectible keychain line. Harder to find today, especially with the original card backing included. Item Details: Brand: Basic Fun Item #: 587-0 Made in China Ages 5+ Approx. 3.5 inches tall Perfect for Nickelodeon fans and 2000s cartoon collectors. While not in mint condition, this still makes a great display piece and a nostalgic throwback.
