No tools are required. The unit uses a clip-based system: poles slot into the shelf corners and clips lock each shelf in place at the chosen height. The instruction manual included in the package guides the process. Can I adjust the spacing between shelves after assembly? Yes. The shelves are repositionable along the poles. Releasing the clips allows a shelf to be moved to a different height, then re-secured with the clips. The total unit height remains 50 inches regardless of shelf arrangement. Is this unit suitable for a bathroom or laundry room environment? The epoxy/powder coat finish on the steel frame provides resistance to rust and corrosion, making it reasonable for use in humid environments such as bathrooms and laundry rooms.
