Vintage amber glass ashtray in a heavy pressed teardrop / thumbprint sunburst pattern. Classic mid-century modern piece with a warm honey-amber glow that catches the light beautifully. Round form with multiple cigarette rests around the rim.Thick, substantial molded glass with great weight in the hand. The radiating teardrop design gives it a sunburst look from above and a faceted, sculptural profile from the side. Works as a functional ashtray or as a catchall, ring dish, or decorative accent for a bar cart, desk, or shelf.Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Light surface wear and minor scratches from age and use, consistent with a piece of this era.
