Up for sale is an incredible, authentic early original mixed media artwork on wood panel by renowned contemporary American folk artist Dolan Geiman. This rare 2010 piece showcases Geiman’s highly collectible signature style, featuring detailed dark graphic winter tree silhouettes layered over a heavily textured, hand-painted abstract background. Collector Note on Provenance: The reverse of the wood panel contains a unique studio anomaly: it features the artist's handwritten signature TWICE. One signature is oriented upside down on the panel, and the second signature is clearly hand-dated "2010" next to it. The year 2010 marks the historic period when the Dolan Geiman Studio launched its first major national brand partnerships, making this a fantastic piece of studio history.
