Up for sale is a beautiful, vintage Barney the Purple Dinosaur 10" plush toy featuring the iconic green "I Love You" stitched heart on his chest. This specific variant features the official mid-90s manufacturer tush tag reading "Mfr'd for Lyons by Golden Bear Co., Ltd. (Hdqtrs. in Seoul, Korea) Made in China". CONDITION: Pristine, like-new cosmetic condition. The purple plush fabric is exceptionally clean, vibrant, and incredibly soft with absolutely no stains, fading, or signs of play wear. The hard plastic eyes are bright and free of scratches. Please note there is a minor, tiny factory thread irregularity on his right eyelid (as shown in the close-up photo), which is a common minor manufacturing trait for these plushies. It appears to have been safely stored away immediately after production. ELECTRONICS NOTE (PLEASE READ): Because this item is a pristine, untouched vintage piece, the internal singing mechanism is completely UNTESTED. It does NOT currently play the "I Love You" song when pressed. It likely requires fresh batteries or has an original internal battery pull-tab still intact. To keep the plush in its un-tampered "New Old Stock" state, I have not unsealed the rear Velcro pouch to inspect the battery chamber. Sold strictly AS-IS as a collectors piece.
