Hand-thrown studio pottery oval baking dish with bold cobalt blue brushstroke crosshatch pattern on a white glaze. Artist signed on the unglazed terracotta base. Dual tab handles, clean interior, substantial weight — this was made to be used and admired. Details: Artist signed — hand-thrown studio pottery Approx. 13" handle to handle x 16" long x 4" deep Cobalt blue brushstroke crosshatch exterior Unglazed terracotta base Dual side handles Clean interior, no chips or cracks noted Pre-owned, excellent condition Age & Attribution: Consistent with American studio pottery from the 1970s–1980s. The unglazed terracotta base, loose expressive brushstroke style, and tab handle shape are all hallmarks of the studio craft movement of that era. Interior crazing is consistent with 40–50 years of age. Unsigned maker but hand-signed by the artist in script on the base. Perfect for the table, oven, or display shelf. Ships carefully wrapped.
