This rare Goebel Hummel Madonna figurine features a halo and pastel colors, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. This edition is noted for its refined, "crisp" mold details and the soft, pastel hand-painting that is characteristic of the later Goebel years The TMK-8 edition (Trademark 8) is historically significant as the final trademark ever used by Goebel for M.I. Hummel figurines before they ceased production in 2008 Known as the "Millennium Mark," it was introduced in the year 2000 to celebrate the new millennium. It is characterized by the return of a large, solo bumblebee flying over or next to the Goebel name, a tribute to Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel's childhood nickname. Collector Significance: Because Goebel officially stopped making Hummels after this era, these are the last authentic Goebel-manufactured Hummel pieces. After 2008, production was handed over to other companies like Manufaktur Rödental (TMK-9) Size: Unisex 11.5 Condition: Pre-Owned Good In very good condition. No chips or cracks.
