Up for sale is an original antique Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) milk glass covered dish commemorating Admiral George Dewey.Produced around 1898–1900 during the Spanish-American War era, this historical piece was manufactured by companies like the Flaccus Glass Company to hold commercial condiments or mustard, and later prized as a decorative candy box.The lidded top features a highly detailed figural bust of Admiral Dewey flanked by draped American flags. The bottom features a molded brick "tile" or fort pattern base.Specifications:• Antique milk glass• Admiral Dewey design• Commemorates Spanish American War• EAPG collectible• Tile base designThis item is in good antique condition considering its age, showing bright white color and strong molded details.
