As one of the few NBA players to have two acclaimed signature sneakers during a single regular season, LeBron James followed up his Lebron 8s with the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 'Cool Grey' sneaker.Released February 2011, the V/2 features a textile upper infused with Flywire paneled overlays that integrate into the lacing system. Underfoot, deep cut flex grooves and 360 degrees of visible Max Air sit at the base of the sneaker.The V/2 variant stripped away the traditional leather found on the standard LeBron 8, replacing it with a lightweight, breathable synthetic mesh upper layered with supportive TPU Flywire overlays.This pair features the iconic full-length 360-degree visible Max Air unit, signature lion graphics on the outsoles, and LeBron James’ signature embossed on the heels.Overall Condition: Pre-owned /Very Good Vintage ConditionUppers: Very clean overall. The Flywire panels, synthetic mesh, and toe caps show minor signs of wear and faint creasing but are free of major scuffs, rips, or tears.Midsoles & Air Units: The full-length Max Air units are completely intact and structurally sound. Please note that due to age (released in 2011), the Air bubbles exhibit standard cloudiness/fogging, which is typical for vintage Air Max models from this era.Outsoles: The outsoles show light, even wear. The herringbone traction patterns and neon green figure-eight accents remain sharp. Minor surface dirt is present from light outdoor use, but the tread is mostly intact.Interior & Lining: The inner collar lining and insoles are intact with minimal pilling. The inner size tags and tongue badges ("Designed and Engineered to the Exact Specifications of Mr. LeBron James") are securely attached and fully legible.Laces: Includes the original black laces with the distinctive neon green aglets (tips).
