This is a vintage Pierre Nicol women's quartz dress watch.Design FeaturesCase Structure: It features an architectural, geometric octagonal case with a faceted, prism-like crystal border.Dial: The watch has an ombre deep royal blue to black sunburst dial decorated with a crystal marker at the 12 o'clock position and minimal gold-tone dot indices.Movement: It is powered by a reliable, battery-operated Japanese quartz movement.Band: The timepiece is paired with a matching blue alligator/crocodile-grain leather strap attached via gold-tone ribbed slider lugs.CollectibilityPierre Nicol watches from this era were popular fashion timepieces known for their striking geometric shapes, faceted glass crystals, and elegant cocktail styling.They are highly sought after today by vintage collectors looking for unique "old money" or retro aestheticsThis Sapphire blue Pierre Nicol is in overall good condition.The dial is clean with no dust build up. The Crystal isn't foggy and doesn't haven't any scratches. Gold plating on the case is a little lighter on one side then the other but no dark discoloration. The band went too long with out conditioning so unfortunately it may last shortly, it will need to be replaced.
