Vintage KJL Kenneth Jay Lane 30” Heavy Chunky Textured Rope Chain Necklace 1960s• Brand: Kenneth Jay Lane (Signed K.J.L. with periods)• Era: Early Vintage (circa 1960s / 1970s)• Length: 30 inches• Link Width: Heavy 3/4" thick links• Material: Heavy gold-plated base metal with textured rope / mesh finish• Clasp Type: Fold-over box clasp with safety catchDescription:Up for sale is a stunning, highly collectible statement runway piece from legendary American costume jewelry designer Kenneth Jay Lane. This ultra-chunky, heavy-weight necklace features 3/4-inch thick links in KJL's signature "bold and gold" textured rope style.The early signature stamp with periods (K.J.L.) dates this premium necklace to his highly sought-after 1960s or 1970s production eras. Features a secure fold-over box clasp.Condition Notes:The gold plating is still in place. There is minor wear where the logo is on the clasp. Please see the note below and take care when cleaning in order to ensure the piece stays in the excellent condition.- Please note this piece is in its authentic, uncleaned estate condition.- There is some dark vintage patina/accumulation in the crevices between the links, which is common for a piece of this age.- I am leaving any deep detailing or polishing up to the preference of the buyer to ensure the integrity of the original vintage finish is preserved.Size: Womens 30 inPlease see the pictures and the description for exact condition.
