Founded in 1945 by Benedetto Panetta, a former platinum jeweler, the company became legendary for producing high-end costume jewelry meticulously crafted to look like genuine fine jewelry.This beautiful figural piece depicts a stylized bumblebee or fly. The insect's body segments are formed by two high-luster cream faux pearls, set against textured gold-plated metal legs and anatomy.The wings are brilliantly accented with hand-set, sparkling clear crystal rhinestones that mimic a pavé diamond setting. The reverse side showcases the heavy, quality casting Panetta is famous for, features a secure rolling C-clasp, and is clearly stamped with the PANETTA maker's hallmark.Condition: Pre-OwnedExcellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear consistent with age.
