Beautiful mid-century studio art glass vase featuring a soft pink to purple cased glass body with elegant applied trailing swirl decoration. The piece has a sculptural form with a solid applied decorative top/finial (non-removable) and a polished pontil base.<br>The vase is hand-signed and dated “1968” (appears to read “Belli” or similar cursive signature) along with a model/catalog number “VCL 8006” on the base.<br>Details:<br>Height: approx. 12.5 inches<br>Color: Pink / Purple cased glass with darker trailing<br>Signed & dated: 1968<br>Base marked: VCL 8006<br>Hand-blown art glass<br>Top is solid/applied (not a stopper)<br><br><br>Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks observed. Light wear consistent with age. Minor base wear and typical small inclusions from the glassmaking process. There is a bit of dust build up inside on the bottom of the vase but other then that it's in beautiful condition. Very pretty piece.
