Description:Authentic 1930s Danish Baroque-Revival carved wooden tabletop frame featuring a bronze powder finish with natural verdigris patina. This frame may have been intentionally designed without glass to house a miniature painting, oil sketch, or art board panel.Specifications:Outer Frame Dimensions: 15.5 cm x 20.5 cmInner Art Cavity Size: 12 cm x 17 cmStyle: Rococo / Baroque RevivalOrigin: Denmark (ca. 1920s-1930s)Backing & Mechanics:The rear features its original textured red leatherette backing board. It is equipped with a unique, fully functional 360-degree rotating easel leg and sliding metal guide strap, allowing the frame to easily stand in either portrait or landscape orientation. The backing panel slides smoothly under the rigid top corner brackets and locks tightly with two side metal turn tabs.Condition:Good vintage condition with beautiful structural integrity. The carved wood body is solid. The exterior shows authentic aged copper-alloy verdigris oxidation in the deep crevices, which highlights the ornate pattern. The original red leatherette paper backing has light wear and a faint horizontal crease from decades of easel pressure but remains fully intact.
