Overview:Up for sale is a vintage Kirby Generation 5 (G5) vacuum cleaning system. This unit is fully functional and includes a highly desirable collector detail: the original factory protective plastic film is still intact on the handle decal badge.What’s Included (pictured):Kirby G5 Base Unit (with protective factory film on handle badge)Complete Standard Tool Caddy (flexible hose, two extension wands, floor nozzle, crevice tool, upholstery nozzle, dusting brush, and surface concentrator tip)Handheld Suds-O-Gun spray handle with fluid tank attachment (no cleaning fluids included)Kirby Zippbrush air-turbine-powered rotating brush attachment (in original plastic packaging)Original vintage Kirby G5 Owner's ManualExtra replacement filtration bagsCondition:Mechanical: Tested (Unit turns on).Electrical: The power cord is in very good condition with no splits, breaks, or electrical tape repairs.Bag & Zipper: The original burgundy cloth outer bag is clean and intact. The center zipper operates smoothly.Cosmetic: Good to Very Good vintage condition. The cast aluminum housing exhibits typical cosmetic surface pitting, spotting, and oxidation on the sides/wings as shown in photos. This does not affect performance and can be buffed down with a heavy-duty aluminum restorer if desired. There is some minor dust/debris residue in crevices, wheels, and belt tracks consistent with light use. Decals still have plastic protective overlays (they were never peeled off).Sold as-is.*DISCLAIMER: Obtained from an estate, tested (turns on, sounds normal and strong) but otherwise not investigated for total completeness/operation. All standard accessories appear to be included but not all parts from the shampoo kit appear included. The Kirby parts that are shown is what is included in this lot; there are no parts inside the shown shampoo kit box (just paperwork). Shipping Logistics:For ease, the vacuum will be partially disassembled and all components will be packed securely in a heavy-duty box.
