Description:Up for sale is a vintage 12-inch Globemaster raised relief desktop globe. It features a beautiful, sturdy solid hardwood base and textured, raised-relief mountains that give it a wonderful classic look. Made in USA. Ca 1990sCondition:The globe is structurally solid, the colors are bright, and the wooden base is in excellent shape. It does show two localized cosmetic flaws from age (please see the close-up photos): 1) a small puncture/gash in the Bellingshausen Sea (near Antarctica), and 2) a small surface peel mark in the Atlantic Ocean text. The equatorial tape is a little discolored with age but still holding well. Aside from these few blemishes, the rest of the globe map surface is clean, crisp, and in excellent condition. Perfect as a classic office accent, library decor, or a vintage styling piece!--Please pay within 48 hours of auctions end. All items from a smoke-free environment. Please Check out my other items!
