This unmarked (possibly Montague) combo dates from the 1920s to 1940s era and features classic American hardware styling typical of trade rods from that period. It makes an excellent rustic display piece or restoration candidate.Specifications:Rod Type: Six-sided split bamboo fly rodConfiguration: 3-piece setup Overall Length: approx. 10 feet (ca. 121 inches)Grip: Contoured stacked cork handleReel Type: Single-action skeleton fly reel with a 1:1 gear ratioLine: Loaded with aged braided lineCondition:Bamboo: Structurally intact but shows heavy varnish flaking and loss across the sections, exposing raw cane wood.Wraps: Original red silk thread guide wraps are intact but dry, unvarnished, and showing slight fuzzing.Hardware: Metal reel seat, ferrules, and reel frame show natural dark gray tarnish, light pitting, and surface oxidation.
