The outer box retains its original manufacturer ink stamps documenting its shipment from the historic Lux Audio of America headquarters at 160 Dupont St. in Plainview, NY, directly to Connecticut Audio in Cheshire, CT. This provenance firmly dates this high-end Japanese deck to its initial 1979–1981 production cycle.
