1997 Donruss Preferred Football trading card box and tins (empty). Start or complete your set!What is Included in This Lot:Large Retail Master Storage Tin (gold version): Features Karim Abdul-Jabbar on the lid. This tin originally held the smaller individual packs at retail stores.Nine Small Individual Pack Tins: These originally served as the premium card packs themselves. You get a great selection of 1990s NFL superstars and rookies, including Brett Favre, Warrick Dunn (x2), Tim Brown, Terry Glenn, Carl Pickens, Kerry Collins, Ike Hilliard, and Keyshawn Johnson.About the 1997 Donruss Preferred Series:This was a highly unique premium release in 1997 where the cards came packaged inside these collectible metal tins instead of standard foil packs. Donruss urged collectors to "Collect all 24 tins" to fill the master display box. Finding a large matching cluster of these tins with the main retail master storage box intact is uncommon today.Item Condition:All tins are empty and in great vintage shape with vibrant colors, clear graphics, and minimal shelf wear. The hinges and lids fit properly. There are no major dents or severe scratches. The master tin and some minor press dings on the upper and mid left side.
