<p>The Hickok Manufacturing Company was a historic, prominent accessory manufacturer based right in Rochester, NY.</p><p>"Bar H" items refers to Hickok's highly popular, iconic "Bar-H" Western-style product line. Introduced in the late 1930s and heavily marketed throughout the 1940s and 1950s, the Bar-H collection captured the era's fascination with cowboy and frontier mythology.</p><br /><p>The Hickok company is deeply embedded in Rochester's history. Beyond their widely distributed men's apparel lines, they are famously known for creating the Hickok Belt—an ultra-premium, gold-and-jeweled trophy awarded annually from 1950 to 1976 to the top professional athlete of the year.</p><br /><p>The embroidered name seems to be a member of the company as an employee or member since the company didn’t focus on clothing especially sweaters. </p>
