Here's a rare set of Wunder Lumber toy pieces made in 1932. Building off of the earlier success of Lincoln Logs and TinkerToy, this modeling toy included 16 types of wooden pieces, including various lengths of tongue lumber, grove lumber, joiners, axels and more. An enclosed booklet provided photos of 50 potential models, from windmills to farm equipment.Condition: This set appears complete (or near complete) with 132 pieces. A handful of pieces show chips or other damage, though most are fine. The instruction booklet is in bad shape. What's left of it is readable, though quite dry and brittle. You'd need to handle it with care and pieces of the book are missing. Does not include original packaging. See first photo for all contents and the others for detail.Wunder Lumber appears to be lost to history, rarely appearing for resale. This post-depression game likely never caught on like TinkerToy (rereleased that same year) and later plastic building toys like Lego. Take this opportunity to grab one of these nostalgic toys for the imaginative kid (or adult) in your lifeShipping: See listing for available service and any options. Items are carefully packed to survive increasingly rough postal treatment. When possible, I upgrade shipping and provide insurance (though feasibility depends on package size, weight, etc.). Contact me with any special needs or concerns.Returns: Vintage items naturally show wear or other signs of prior use. Please review the listing and photos closely to assess condition. To keep prices low, I'm unable to accept returns. You're still fully protected by eBay's Money Back Guarantee if an item significantly differs from the description.
