Size and condition above come from the listing. The description below is the seller’s own text.
Here's an authentic Blue Nun box (circa 1970s) designed to hold a case of the semi-sweet, light-bodied white wine (aka Liebfraumilch). This sturdy cardboard box features their iconic nun mascot harvesting grapes on two panels. Another side is marked H. Sichel Söhne Mainz am Rhein, denoting the German producer of the wine since 1921. Box measures 14 x 13 x 8¾ inches.Condition: While the box shows some wear, the historic advertising graphics remain vivid and charming on both sides with no major fading. Box shows some scuffs, dirt, discoloration, tape remnants, and minor tears near the openings and corners (one small hole in the heart graphic on the short panel). The top end is complete, though one flap is partially ripped along its edge. The bottom has one torn and one missing flap. Noting every flaw in not possible, so please consider this description and the photos as representative of the overall condition. This original Blue Nun box would be a nostalgic conversation piece for your wine cellar. With graphics printed on two panels, you could deconstruct the box to create unique twin framed prints (each 14" x 13") for your bar, kitchen, or home gallery.Shipping: Items are carefully packed.
