Time-Life Your Hit Parade 22-CD Anthology Collection delivers decades of timeless American popular standards, legendary big bands, and chart-topping mid-century vocalists in one comprehensive audio archive. Spanning 1940 through 1959—alongside The War Years and The Unforgettable '50s specialty installments—this massive run gathers the definitive studio and radio recordings that shaped golden-era pop, swing, and traditional vocal music across two pivotal decades.Inspected and Play-Grade Discs: Every compact disc has been visually confirmed clean and free of defects; discs show minor if any signs of use. All liner notes included (see examples in photos).Honest Jewel Case Wear: Original standard jewel cases show typical vintage shelf wear with standard light scuffing and occasional deeper scratches. Cases appear intact and the inner spindles effectively retain the discs.. Archival Mastering Quality: Digitally remastered by Time-Life Music from original catalog master tapes to preserve the dynamic warmth and clarity of 1940s and 1950s hit radio broadcasts and phonograph releases.Shipping: Items are carefully packed.
