An absolutely spectacular, fully authenticated mid-century vintage eyewear matching set! This listing includes a stunning pair of authentic 1950s/1960s cat-eye sunglasses manufactured in Rochester, NY by the historic Art-Craft Optical company, along with its original matching structured clamshell presentation case. The frames feature a gorgeous crystal-clear acetate lower rim paired with polished silver-tone aluminum browlines and temples. The outer corners and the lengths of the temple arms are embellished with beautifully detailed, deeply engraved 3D metallic floral/leaf wing patterns that catch the light elegantly. The inner temple arms are stamped with the official "Art-Craft USA" maker's mark and factory sizing codes: 4 1/4 - 5 1/2. They are fitted with period-accurate, non-prescription dark green tinted lenses. The set is completed by a hard-sided clamshell case wrapped in a shimmering, metallic gold floral brocade textile with a plush magenta velvet lining.
