Hayes, Jr.Condition ReportOverall, this collection is in Very Good (VG) vintage condition, with pristine interiors.Internal Pages & Plates: Excellent / Near Fine. The text and plates across all five volumes are crisp, bright, white, and flat. No foxing, water stains, finger smudges, or corner folds.Markings: None. All pages are entirely free of personal signatures, ex-libris library stamps, handwriting, or highlighting.Bindings: Very Good. All signatures are securely bound, hinges are tight and uncracked, and the books sit completely square.Cloth Hardcovers: Very Good. Exceptionally vibrant cloth faces with clean, crisp stamped typography. They have been wonderfully protected inside their slipcases.Slipcases: Good to Very Good. The slipcases are structurally solid and intact. They show typical vintage shelf rubbing on the edges and corners. Note: The back panel of the 20th Century Drawings case has a visible patch of surface paper scuffing from an old price sticker (see close-up photo).
