Up for grabs is a pristine piece of deadstock cycling history from the late 1980s or early 1990s. These vintage Bellwether cycling pants are brand new with the original tags attached and were proudly made in San Francisco, U.S.A. Crafted from Bellwether's patented TMC (Theoretical Maximum Construction) tightly woven nylon fabric, these pants were specifically engineered to act as a high-performance windshield with exceptional water repellency for fall and winter riding. They feature a classic tapered leg silhouette that provides a roomy, relaxed fit through the thigh before gradually narrowing down to gathered, elasticized ankle cuffs to keep loose fabric away from your bike chain.This rare pair is fully equipped with functional details, including an accommodating full-elastic waistband, secure zippered ankle cuffs for easy on-and-off over shoes, and a zippered rear pocket for secure storage. The lower left leg features the iconic, vibrant multi-color embroidered geometric Bellwether logo patch. In flat lay measurements, the waist sits at an unstretched 14 inches but comfortably expands to accommodate the tag's official 38 to 40-inch waist rating, paired with a 33.5-inch inseam.
