A beautiful vintage Abbmoor women's overcoat with an elegant, timeless silhouette and wonderful mid-century styling. This full-length black coat features a contrasting brown fur-style collar, distinctive large decorative buttons, long sleeves, vertical front pockets, a full lining, and a gently flared A-line silhouette. The understated black exterior paired with the warm brown collar gives this coat a sophisticated classic look that would work beautifully for winter wear, special occasions, holiday dressing, or a vintage-inspired wardrobe. The inside bears the original Abbmoor woven label. Abbmoor is a documented American coat label with commercial use of the name dating back to 1937. Based on the coat's styling, silhouette, construction, and details, I believe this example is most likely mid-century vintage, possibly 1960s era. However, I have not found information that allows me to establish an exact year of manufacture, so the date should be considered an estimate. The brown collar has the appearance of vintage fur; however, there is no material label identifying it and it has not been professionally tested or authenticated.
