This listing is for a beautiful set of vintage ceramic art tiles created by the artist J. Alexander in 1971. These pieces feature a high-contrast, black-and-white stippled illustration style that gives them a classic, aged historical feel.Tile 1: "The Half Moon" – A detailed depiction of the Halve Maen, the ship sailed by Henry Hudson during his 1609 exploration of North America. Tile 2: "Sybil Ludington" – Commemorates the "Female Paul Revere" and her 1777 midnight ride to warn colonial forces of a British attack.Dimensions: Each tile measures approximately 6" x 6" square.Signature: Both are hand-signed and dated "J.
