<p>Up for sale is a museum-quality, Uncirculated (UNC) WWII OPA Red Point Ration Token.</p><br /><p>Unlike most ration tokens which show heavy wear from being passed around during the war, this "UC" lettered token is in pristine, uncirculated condition. It features sharp, crisp embossing and the original deep red color of the vulcanized fiber.</p><br /><p>Condition: UNC - No signs of circulation or handling wear.</p><br /><p>Historical Context: Issued by the Office of Price Administration (OPA) between 1944 and 1945, these were used as "change" for red ration stamps for meat and butter.</p><br /><p>Material: Authentic vulcanized fiber (celluloid).</p><p>Details: Features the letter combination "UC" flanking the "1".</p><br /><p>A rare opportunity to own a "mint" piece of WWII history that looks exactly as it did when it left the OPA box 80 years ago!</p>
