2009-D Presidency Lincoln Bicentennial Cent – Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) Commemorate the final stage of Abraham Lincoln's legacy with the 2009-D "Presidency" Cent. This coin is the fourth and final release in the 2009 Bicentennial series, marking both the 200th anniversary of Lincoln’s birth and the 100th anniversary of the Lincoln Cent. Key Design Features:• Obverse: The iconic bust of Abraham Lincoln by Victor D. Brenner. • Reverse: Designed by Susan Gamble and sculpted by Joseph Menna, the reverse depicts an image of the half-completed U.S. Capitol Dome as it looked during Lincoln’s presidency. This powerful imagery symbolizes the nation's struggle during the Civil War and Lincoln's resolve to preserve the Union. • Strike: Business Strike (Regular Issue). Condition Notes:• Luster: Original "Red" (RD) mint luster. • Quality: Hand-pulled from a fresh bank-wrapped roll.
