<p>Beautiful, Oaxacan, black clay luminaria, with base. This piece is approximately 5 1/4 inches wide and 5 inches tall, including the base.</p><br /><p>Oaxacan black clay pottery is known for its almost glass-like surface, its intricate carvings and fine details, and its rich black color. Each piece is cut by hand and baked in a fire of black smoke which produces its unique color. Each piece takes around 20 days to complete.</p><br /><p>Shipping within the USA is typically handled via UPS or USPS, depending on what I determine to be the best option, which may differ from the listing.</p><p>Disclosure: This is a **pre-owned item**, acquired from a local estate, thrift store, or yard sale or gift.
