Up for sale is a rare pair of authentic 1972 underground "comix" from the height of the counter-culture movement. Published by R.E. Inc., these "Adults Only" anthologies were originally sold in head shops and are known for their satirical, "dirty" parodies of classic pop culture and comic strip characters.Item 1: Tsk Tsk Comix No. 2 (1972)• Artist/Contents: Features explicit parodies of classic strips including "Henny" (Henry), "Brenda Stack" (Brenda Starr), "Starchie" (Archie), and "Joe Bazooka." Illustrator credits include Peter B. Hard and others.• Condition: Features a remainder mark (saw cut) at the top edge, typical for distributor returns of the era. Bright cover colors with light edge wear.• Unique Markings: Vintage "$3.00" price mark on cover.Item 2: Cheer Comix No. 1 (1972)• Contents: A classic underground anthology featuring 70s-era "Adult Humor" and satirical shorts.• Condition: No saw cut.
