Gorgeous, highly collectible vintage miniature rouge compact from the iconic Bourjois "Evening in Paris" cosmetic line. This Art Deco vanity piece features a polished gold-tone brass round case adorned with a striking, raised silver-tone "Angel Wing / Feather" emblem on the front lid. Measuring at a dainty 1.5 inches, it was designed as an affordable luxury item during the 1930s and remains a highly sought-after piece for vintage makeup and vanity collectors today. Shows honest vintage wear consistent with age, including light surface scratches, minor scuffing, and natural brass patina/tarnish. The hinge is sturdy, and the compact opens easily and snaps shut securely. Includes the original mirror which shows some scratches and minor foxing/silver loss. Includes the original powder puff and a the majority of the pink rouge makeup cake.
