Vintage Beam's Choice "Prince Baltasar Carlos" by Velazquez Empty Bourbon Whiskey Decanter Bottle Bring a touch of classic art history to your home bar, den, or vintage collection with this empty "Beam's Choice" bourbon decanter from the James B. Beam Distilling Company (Clermont, Beam, Kentucky). This 4/5 quart flask-style bottle features a vibrant, shimmering cobalt blue body decorated with an intricate pattern of gold marbled veins. The front oval display panel features a reproduction of the iconic equestrian masterpiece "Prince Baltasar Carlos" by Spanish Master Painter Diego Velázquez. Condition Notes: This is a vintage, pre-owned empty collectible bottle showing authentic character and some cosmetic wear from age: Bottle Body & Finish: The cobalt blue glaze and gold marbling remain vibrant and present beautifully from the front and sides. There are some typical light scuffs and minor specks of glaze wear along the gold-rimmed borders. Base Wear: The underside of the base shows prominent historic scuffing and dark storage residue, along with a couple of chips in the blue finish along the lower resting edges. These flaws are hidden when the decanter stands upright. Artwork & Labels: The central front portrait of the Prince on his horse is fully intact and clear. The rear paper scroll label features a portrait of Velázquez (1599–1641) alongside his biography; it is entirely readable but shows light vintage discoloration.
