This collector's piece features an intricate, openwork gold-toned metal cross depicting the full story of Christmas in tiered, sculpted relief vignettes. Starting from the top and reading downward, the scenes display the Star of Bethlehem, the Nativity scene with Mary, Joseph, and Infant Jesus in the manger flanked by two herald angels, the arrival of the Three Wise Men on camels, the shepherds tending their flocks, and the peaceful desert landscape.
