Designed to look like a detailed, open Holy Bible resting on a classic leather-bound book spine base, this detailed collectible features a fully rendered stable scene alongside a beautifully engraved biblical passage detailing the Christmas story. Note: The shepherd boy figure is designed to spin when the mechanism is engaged. Mechanical & Condition Note (Please Read): Visually, this item is in beautiful vintage condition with no major chips or structural damage. The painting details are vibrant and clean. However, the musical mechanism requires some attention: The Movement: The kneeling shepherd boy spins as intended. The Music Box: The built-in Nargo (Japan) wind-up music box does not play consistently. You can get periodic sound out of it, but something inside is currently not lined up properly. Tinker/Fixer-Upper Piece: This would make an excellent project piece for a clock, music box, or vintage toy hobbyist to tinker with and align correctly! Please review all photos carefully to see the beautiful cosmetic condition of the piece from every angle, including the underside mechanism and close-ups of the figures.
