This is a charming piece of 1980s advertising history: Lushie Peach, one of the original four characters from the Del Monte Country Yumkins collection. Produced by Trudy Toys (Norwalk, CT) in 1982, these plushies were originally a mail-in premium obtained by saving Del Monte product labels. Product Details Character: Lushie Peach Collection: Country Yumkins Year: 1982 Manufacturer: Trudy Toys Features: Googly eyes with eyelashes, plush peach body, green felt feet, and a brown stem with a green leaf. Tag: Original tush tags are intact, showing "Lushie Peach © 1982 Del Monte Corporation" and the "Trudy" manufacturer logo. Condition Overall: Excellent vintage condition. Eyes: Googly eyes are clear and secure. Fabric: The orange plush remains bright and soft. No significant stains or odors. Flaws: Minor age-related wear to the felt feet and a small visible seam line on the back (typical of original manufacturing). Please see photos for a detailed look at the condition.
