Up for sale is a uniquely striking, vintage handcrafted wooden tankard/stein. This piece features a distinct, rugged Brutalist style with heavy, multi-faceted geometric carving around the body and a thick, stylized handle held tightly in place by oversized industrial-looking metal pins or rivets. Carved from a solid block of wood to look like a stylized log section, the bottom retains a beautiful faux "tree ring" concentric circle pattern. It's an excellent decorative piece for a home bar, man cave, or a Renaissance/medieval-style collection. Item Details Origin: Authentic vintage piece with the original gold foil label intact on the bottom reading "HAND MADE IN SPAIN". Material: Carved solid hardwood with a rich, dark stained finish highlighting the natural grain and deep texture. Style: Brutalist, Medieval, Gothic, Renaissance. Dimensions: Stands approximately 5.25 inches tall. Condition Note This tankard is in excellent vintage condition. The wood structure is completely solid with no structural cracks or splits. The handle is firmly attached and tight. There are minor, superficial surface scuffs and tiny flecks of minor finish wear along the top rim edges appropriate for an authentic, handmade vintage item. The gold foil label on the base shows light creasing but is fully legible.
