Up for sale is a 2-piece vintage folk art lot featuring a 3D handcrafted wooden cabin interior shadow box diorama (dated 1976) and a souvenir wall plaque from the Azores islands of Portugal. Please note: The shadow box diorama has several broken and missing miniature components and is being sold As-Is for restoration, repurposing, or parts. What’s Included & Detailed Condition 1. Vintage 1976 Cabin Shadow Box (As-Is / Damaged) This entirely wooden miniature room features a cozy rustic cabin scene with exposed ceiling beams, a stone-etched fireplace, and built-in shelving. Defects / Damage: The central hanging chandelier has broken and missing candle sticks. There are also a few small broken, loose, or completely missing miniature items throughout the cabin floor and shelves (please study the close-up photos carefully to see exactly what is missing or detached). Markings: The back of the panel is handwritten with "Acapulco, 1976" and a studio mark of "3/11". Dimensions: Measures approximately 11 inches wide, 10.5 inches tall, and 3 inches deep. 2. Santa Maria Azores Souvenir Plaque A hide-shaped wooden hanging plaque featuring traditional regional motifs. It includes the stamped text "Recordação de Stª Maria Açores" (Souvenir of Santa Maria, Azores) and "Boa Sorte" (Good Luck). Condition: Unlike the shadow box, this piece is in very good vintage condition. The dimensional horseshoe, miniature ceramic floral pitcher, tiny classical acoustic guitar with its textile tassel, and miniature bottle of Verdelho wine are all securely attached and intact. Dimensions: Measures approximately 4.75 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall. Important Buying Condition Note This lot is being sold with a skeptical condition grade specifically due to the shadow box.
