Offered is a classic 1978 edition of Milton Bradley's Battleship. This set is the specific late-70s variant that features two matching blue folding cases rather than the standard red/blue combo. While the cases show some vintage wear, the game is internally 100% complete and ready for immediate play. Condition Report - PLEASE READ: Hinge Issue: One of the blue cases is missing a hinge peg/pin (see close-up photo #18783). The lid still stays attached and the case snaps shut securely for storage, but the lid may be loose or become unseated when fully opened. Ships: 100% Complete. Includes all 10 gray plastic ships (2 Carriers, 2 Battleships, 2 Destroyers, 2 Submarines, 2 Patrol Boats). Pegs: Includes a full inventory of red "hit" pegs and white "miss" pegs as pictured. Cosmetics: The "Battleship" decals on the exterior show some age-related wear but remain bright. The blue plastic has minor scuffs and surface dust consistent with a game from 1978. Features: Classic "Fire Control Center" interior graphics. Compact, portable design. All internal components (ships/pegs) are in excellent, playable condition. Note to Buyers: This listing is for the two cases and all internal components only. The original cardboard box and printed manual are not included. Ships from a smoke-free home.
