For sale is a charming 3-piece vintage folk art collection featuring a pig-themed clock, piggy bank, and wall plaque. these pieces were hand-crafted from solid red cedar by local artisan Milton J. Meier. This set is a unique piece of regional history, featuring two different studio labels from the maker’s career: one from Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and one from Farmersburg, Iowa. Condition Details: Pig Clock: Currently NON-FUNCTIONAL. The quartz insert is not running and will require repair or replacement. There is a visible vertical stress crack on the wooden body (please see photos for detail). Piggy Bank: Good vintage condition. Includes the original wooden snout stopper secured with screws. Wall Plaque: Features a hand-painted pig face and a decorative heart accent. General: All pieces show the beautiful, vibrant red and blonde grain characteristic of cedar with a high-gloss finish. There is a small blue paint mark on the side of the bank and minor surface scuffs consistent with age. Dimensions: Wall Plaque: 16" Wide x 11" High Clock & Bank: Approximately 9" Long x 6.5" High Shipping: Ships quickly and securely from Misbehaving LLC.
