Up for your consideration is a stunning piece of American glass history: an Imperial Grape bowl in the iconic Marigold finish. Produced by the Imperial Glass Company starting around 1910, this piece features the "Heavy Grape" motif that made Imperial a leader in iridescent glassware. Design & Details Manufacturer: Imperial Glass Company Pattern: Imperial Grape (Deeply embossed grape clusters with detailed, stippled leaf texture). Color: Radiant Marigold/Amber with a strong, multi-color iridescence showing flashes of pink, purple, and green. Edge: Elegant ruffled and scalloped sawtooth rim. Size: Approximately 9" diameter. Condition Report This bowl is in excellent vintage condition. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. The iridescence is remarkably vibrant and consistent across the face of the bowl. The glass remains clear with no cloudiness or "sick glass" spots. Note: As with all glass from the early 1900s, there may be minor factory bubbles or straw marks (cooling lines) which are characteristic of the period and not considered defects. Style & Decor The "Imperial Grape" pattern is a classic for collectors.
