This listing is for a vintage set of four (4) cobalt blue and white porcelain collector plates made in Germany by Marmot-China. All plates are from 1970 and represent the "First Issue" of their respective limited edition series. These are beautiful decorative pieces featuring embossed details and classic European styling. What’s Included: 3x "Christmas 1970 Weihnacht" Plates: Features a majestic polar bear standing on ice against a glacial background. 1x "Father's Day 1970 Fars Dag" Plate: Titled "King of the Forest," this plate depicts a noble stag in a mountain landscape with a pine-wreath border and a star at the top. Item Specifications: Brand: Marmot-China Origin: Made in Germany Year: 1970 (First Issue) Color: Cobalt Blue and White Diameter: Approximately 7.5 inches Material: Porcelain / China Display: Each plate has two pre-drilled holes on the back for easy wall hanging. Condition: Overall: The plates are in good vintage condition with vibrant colors and no fading. Specifics: Three of the plates are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. One of the Polar Bear plates has a small chip on the outer rim (please see the close-up photo for detail). There is minor shelf wear on the bottom base rings as expected with age.
